A monument commemorates the fictitious figure Fonzarelli-Fonzie in Downtown Milwaukee. The most current public artworks featuring the U.S. honoring TV and other recent movie stars were placed in Downtown Milwaukee in August 2009.

A life-size bronze statue of Fonzie or The Fonz was placed among them. The Fonz has signed his name with two thumbs up.

Arthur Fonzarelli's Life

Arthur Herbert Fonzarelli is the full name of the fictitious character "Fonzie" or "The Fonz." In the American Sitcom Happy Days, Henry Winkler portrayed this fictional character.

He was formerly a supporting character. However, when his other characters gained popularity, he was quickly elevated to the role of the lead character.

Fonzie's usual outfit consists of a leather jacket and jeans. In Happy Days, this character's signature gesture is a two-handed thumbs up.

Arthur Fonzarelli was born into a family of Italian-Americans. His father had deserted him and his mother. Fonzie is shown as a school dropout at the start of the series. The characters were encouraging him to be portrayed as a renegade and a negative influence on him.

He goes back to school. After a few seasons, though, Fonzie begins attending night school and eventually receives his high school certificate. He later becomes an auto mechanic instructor at Thomas Jefferson High School and, ultimately, a full-fledged teacher.

Fonzarelli has excellent moral standards and enjoys assisting others. Despite his aloofness, he possessed a positive attribute of dedication. Only one person ever addressed him by his first name, Arthur, and that was Marion.
