Brace yourselves (and your wallets!), discount shoppers, because on Tuesday, Marshalls officially launched its very own online store. We've been anxiously awaiting the arrival of the off-price retailer's digital debut since news of its e-commerce plans broke in March. Now that Marshalls.com is officially here, here's a look at everything we know about the new online store so far.

What products are available on Marshalls online?

While Marshalls' online offerings are certainly similar to what's available in stores (think: apparel, accessories, beauty products, and home items), you shouldn't expect to find the same exact products in both places. According to a press release sent out on Tuesday, Marshalls.com offers its own unique mix of items, just as each brick-and-mortar Marshalls store does.

What happens if I need to return something I buy in Marshalls' online store?

Good news: Making returns to Marshalls will continue to be super easy, even when you buy items in the online store. Online shoppers can return their purchases either via mail or at any one of Marshalls' more than 1,100 brick-and-mortar stores, according to the press release. (You can find a location near you here.)

Does this mean Marshalls stores near me are closing?

Nope. In fact, The TJX Companies CEO Ernie Herrman told investors during a March conference call that he's hoping the exact opposite: that the launch of Marshalls online shopping will drive more foot traffic to the brick-and-mortar stores. When another TJX Companies retailer, TJ Maxx, launched its own online shopping experience in 2013, it actually saw a slight increase in in-store foot traffic and "cross-shopping" across the digital and physical stores.
